Hello from Dr. John F. Murray! Below is a sports psychology interview I did from my Palm Beach office for NFL Films Presents (produced & directed by the late Steve Sabol) that aired on the NFL Network and ESPN2 many times. We discussed the dangerous “adrenaline dump” that occurs with extreme emotions in sports, just one tiny example of an area to work on in mental coaching. It often occurs in states of anger, fear or hatred, and it destroys performance.
