To begin your sport psychology coaching journey, the first step is to reach out for an initial consultation. This session will help us understand your goals, challenges, and the specific areas you want to enhance. From there, we can discuss the best approach tailored to your needs and outline the next steps for your mental performance development.

Each mental performance session is a step toward unlocking your full potential. It's a journey that starts with you - your goals, your challenges, your aspirations. Here's the path we'll take together:

  1. Discovery: We delve into your unique mental framework, celebrating strengths and identifying growth opportunities.

  2. Vision: Together, we craft a vivid picture of your goals and uncover what might be holding you back.

  3. Learning: I'll introduce you to the powerful psychological tools and techniques that can transform your performance.

  4. Mastery: You'll actively engage in mastering these skills, turning insights into action.

  5. Evolution: Finally, we bring these skills to life in your training and competitive realms, evolving your performance to match your vision.

This process is about nurturing a mindset of excellence, ensuring that the strategies and mental skills you acquire go beyond the game. It’s about empowering you to surpass your objectives and continuously expand the boundaries of your capabilities.

Session frequency is personalized, often ranging from bi-weekly to monthly. The optimal schedule will be determined collaboratively at the outset and can be adjusted as progress is made or as different needs arise. Regular check-ins ensure that the mental skills and strategies remain effective and are adapted to current challenges.

I work with a diverse range of age groups, extending from youth athletes through high school, college, and beyond. Sport and performance psychology can be highly beneficial for athletes and performers of all ages, as it helps develop foundational mental skills early in their sporting journey. For younger clients, the techniques are tailored to be age-appropriate and engaging, fostering a positive mindset towards sports and performance from the start.

Parental involvement is customized to each child's needs, adhering to best practices. While the primary focus is on the child's individual development, there are instances where a parent's presence can be constructive, particularly with younger athletes and students. To support this, I offer one-on-one sessions with parents to discuss their role, as well as joint sessions with parent and child when it serves the athlete's growth. The key is finding the right balance to ensure the child's privacy and maximize the session's impact.
