Sun-Sentinel – Aug 24, 2002 – Sharon Robb – WAXY, 790 AM: Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.: Vic Braden, founder of the Vic Braden Tennis College and a television commentator for many networks including ESPN, NBC and CBS will appear as a guest on Dr. John F. Murray’s Mental Equipment radio program Dr. Murray will interview Braden about the secrets he has discovered to helping people discover more enjoyment and meaning in their sports and lives in his more than 50 years of professional work. Braden is well known for his books and television programs including 13 Tennis For the Future shows on the PBS Network as well as 13 Future Sport shows and 26 Vic’s Vacant Lot shows on ESPN. Dr. Murray is a licensed clinical and sport psychologist. His program aims to help people achieve greater success and enjoyment in a variety of demanding life situations. Based on his experience and the cutting edge science/profession of sport psychology, it encourages callers to ask questions, share their personal successes and failures, and reveal their secrets of success with other listeners. Dr. Murray answers callers’ questions, discusses mental training, and interviews a variety of interesting personalities including professional athletes, performing artists, and leaders in business.
