St. Louis Post-Dispatch – Feb 3, 2006 – Dan O’Neil – FOOTBALL SHRINK – Dr. John F. Murray of Palm Beach, Fla., who has created something called the Mental Performance Index, is predicting the Seahawks will win the Super Bowl, according to the Seattle Times.
The doc explained Seattle has an MPI of .566 during the playoffs, compared to Pittsburgh’s mark of .530. His numbers are based on “focused execution” and “pressure management.”
Murray did not say whether the Steelers’ chances would improve if they started Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi at quarterback instead of Ben Roethlisberger.
